Rubber Tire Drive

1. Develops 33% coefficient of friction.

1. Develops 85% coefficient of friction.


2. Utilizes proprietary couplling system.


2. Utilizes standard AAR couplers as well as UIC, transit or other coupling systems.


3. Can accidentally derail railcar due to operator error during weight transfer.

4. Drive train is non-suspended, amplifying rail movement shock loading.


4. Drive train is pneumatically cushioined to reduce rail movement shock loading.

6. Direct drive requires no onboard computer assistance for maximum traction, but over reving the engine while pulling or starting a heavy load can spin the tires causing excessive tire wear.
